About this series

Running Into the Next Generation is an exciting group of short stories collected from the twenty-year break between Keeping the Faith (The Race Trilogy, Book 2) and Fighting the Good Fight (The Race Trilogy, Book 3).

But this hiatus is no "break" for Chris and Susana Strider. As they train their kids to join the next generation of Doug Damour's runners, their ruthless enemy, Stan Moden, dogs their every step, making sure their lives are fraught with challenges like:

  • Putting together a wedding while dodging Moden's fury.
  • Rescuing a son tricked by paganism's enticements.
  • Worrying over a nephew imprisoned by the enemy's lies.
  • Mourning close friends murdered by Moden.

Risking their lives during these challenges and more bring the Striders closer together. And as their kids learn the blessing of rescuing those deceived by the enemy, the Moden "offspring" are starting to think for themselves. But can Doug's mercy reach even those raised in the enemy's very home?

SIn? Blissfully happy in a city of unending love, Kamíl has never even heard the word. But when some new ideas sweep the land -- ideas introduced by her linkmate -- she suddenly finds herself in a no-win situation. Head spinning, heart aching, she must decide whether to turn her back on the creator she loves or on the elder brother she adores. Have you ever wondered how angels nurtured in an atmosphere of perfect love could learn to hate? How those created for everlasting joy could choose carnage? Maybe their destiny changed in the same way that ours does -- one choice at a time.
