Hollie Porter is the chairwoman of Generation Disillusioned. At 25, she’s saddled with a job she hates, a boyfriend who’s all wrong for her, and a vexing inability to say no. She’s already near her breaking point, so when one caller too many kicks the bucket during Hollie’s 911 shift, she cashes in the Sweethearts’ Spa & Stay gift certificate from her dad and heads to Revelation Cove, British Columbia.
 One caveat: she’s going solo. Any sweethearts will have to be found on site. 
Hollie hopes to find her beloved otters in the wilds of the Great White North, but instead she’s providing comic relief for staff and guests alike. Even Concierge Ryan, a former NHL star with bad knees and broken dreams, can’t stop her from stumbling from one (mis)adventure to another. Just when Hollie starts to think that a change of venue doesn’t mean a change in circumstances, the island works its charm and she starts to think she might have found the rejuvenation she so desperately desires. 
But then an uninvited guest crashes the party, forcing her to step out of the discomfort zone where she dwells and save the day … and maybe even herself in the process.

After relocating to Ryan’s posh resort at Revelation Cove, Hollie embarks on an all-new adventure as the Cove’s wildlife experience educator, teaching guests and their kids about otters and orca and cougars, oh my. When darling Ryan gets down on one NHL-damaged knee and pops the question of a lifetime, Hollie realizes this is where the real adventure begins. It’s all cake tasting, flower choosing, and dress fittings until a long-lost family member shows up at the Cove and threatens to hijack her shiny new life, forcing Hollie to redefine what family means to her. What is she willing to sacrifice to have one of her very own? As Ryan’s words echo in her head—“Our raft, our rules”—Hollie has to face facts: a raft isn’t always tied together with blood and genetics. Sometimes it’s secured by love and loyalty … and occasional help from the clever creatures that call Revelation Cove home.

Frankie Hawes is happy to shrink into the background and play personal assistant to her superstar-photographer father and prodigy older brother. But when bad luck and bad timing collide, Frankie has to dust off her photography skills and head north to shoot the Meyer-Nelson wedding at the picturesque Revelation Cove in British Columbia. It’s one thing to take Instagram pics of neighborhood dogs, but unless an Alaskan malamute wanders into the bridal portraits, Frankie fears the worst. Enter wedding guest Sam McKenzie, childhood friend turned handsome bachelor, who brings with him the tricks he learned hanging around the Hawes family, including how to manage the abrasive bridezilla who happens to be an old bully from their shared past. Reuniting with Sam helps Frankie see that her black-and-white existence on the sidelines has the potential to snap into high resolution—if only she’d allow it. As feelings grow between the pair and Frankie juggles the business during a family emergency, she realizes that maybe it’s time for her to pull focus in her own life.

Hollie Porter, marketing director and First Lady of sea otters, is thrilled when prestigious Vancouver eco-first company Clarke Innovations chooses Revelation Cove to host their annual Green It Up Eco-Summit over Earth Day weekend. With his major-junior hockey team’s playoff run cut short, Ryan is back at the Cove where together, he and Hollie are excited to show local business owners that going green can be both fun and profitable. But you know what they say about best-laid plans. From the introduction of NORA, the Nature-Oriented Robotic Assistant, and her precocious programmer to a food composter more interested in creating noxious odors than nutrient-rich soil, Hollie must think on her feet to keep her guests and VIP presenters from deserting on their battery-powered watercraft before the show ends. And somewhere among the throng, an anonymous guest with a penchant for social media mischief stirs up trouble online, threatening to undermine the summit’s success.
