      On the heels of a resoundingly successful Hunt, Edward is confident… until he tells his parents about his plans to become a Hunter. Furious and distraught, Stefan shares the story the story of the Hunt that took his legs and left their family so distant from much of the Shaman States community. Vicious and ravenous, the Troll Warlock King Galbard carved a path through The South in the late 1970s, killing and eating humans and the specters of his Hunter victims to increase his own power until the Mauers were able to stop him: at great cost. Stefan is willing to do anything to stop his son from facing a similar fate. But Edward can only see the influx of missing person reports and freshly discovered human remains pointing towards the newly discovered Goblin Invasion. With that impending threat, Edward decides that he must Hunt.
