It was written by a former State Exhibition Chairperson of Arizona Designer Craftsmen, a statewide organization for fine-crafts artists who participate in juried gallery shows throughout the country and whose work has been sought after by collectors.

THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS This book is not for you if you are not already well versed in hard soldering and using oxyacetylene equipment. Are you looking for jewelry instruction books? Are you looking for Advanced Jewelry Design Projects? Well, then you’ve come to the right place. We’re offering five – count them – five step-by-step artisan jewelry projects designed with the advanced metal jewelry worker in mind and one project for intermediate jewelry ideas. I originally thought these diy jewelry designs could be for beginners or advanced beginners, but several buyer reviews have proven this thought wrong. Beginners looking for instruction books on how to make jewelry should not purchase this book. And these are not just ordinary, ho hum, anybody can make ‘em but nobody would want to wear ‘em beginner projects. Four of these are projects that were chosen for publication in some of the best step-by-step jewelry magazines in America as well as internationally including Jewelry Artist, Jewelry Arts & Lapidary Journal, Wire Jewelry, and Step-by-Step Beads to name a few. You’ll also get one step-by-step design that was shown in Jewelry Artist only as a photo, not a completed how to do it jewelry design, and one step-by-step that is totally exclusive to this publication. We hope you have fun creating and wearing these truly distinctive and original designs by Joyce Zborower, a 40 year veteran in the field of jewelry design and creation.

Handcrafted Jewelry Photo Gallery -- Cast and fabricated jewelry is a book of jewelry photos of Joyce’s unique contemporary art jewelry. There is a bit of metal jewelry making instruction, but not much. Mostly, she just wanted to show you the designs to give you some jewelry ideas for your own work.

The four books of The Crafts Photo Gallery Series consist primarily of photos of my work in the areas of metal (gold and silver and semi-precious stones), wood (rare, exotic woods with semi-precious stones), and fiber (bargello technique for wall hangings and bed quilts) over the years (1975 – 2012) to hopefully give you ideas for your own work.

Wire Jewelry Photo Gallery is a book of jewelry photos of my unique handmade jewelry designs. There is a bit of instruction, but not much. Mostly, I just wanted to show you the designs to give you some ideas for your own work. My professional writing career began in 1980 with the publication of Jean’s Arizona Fan Palm, cutting directions for a 3.2 carat citrine (you can see it in the Handcrafted Jewelry Photo Gallery book in this Kick-Start Creativity series), in the January issue of the Lapidary Journal Gem Cutting Magazine. Many years later my original jewelry designs with step-by-step instructions were being published in various international trade magazines -- e.g. Jewelry Artist, Step-by-Step Beads, Step-by-Step Wire Jewelry, and Jewelry Arts & Lapidary Journal.

Bargello Train Quilt -- Cutting and Sewing Instructions: Crafts Series, #6

If you've ever wanted to create a unique bargello baby quilt, this is your opportunity. Bargello Train Quilt is the cutting and sewing instructions for an original bargello baby quilt designed and created by  Joyce Zborower, M.A., former State Exhibition Chairperson (2005) for Arizona Designer Craftsmen, a statewide organization dedicated to promoting excellence in fine crafts. Bargello Train Quilt is a very simple bargello design. The cutting and sewing instructions are written in an easy to understand and follow step-by-step format and accompanied with full color photos that show you exactly how to do the various steps. The instructions are presented in sufficient detail that a sewer who is a novice quilter will be able to produce great results; the design is intricate enough to keep a veteran quilter interested. This written version of the instructions is perfect for using while working at your sewing machine.  To instantly download your copy and begin creating a unique designer quilt for your little one, scroll up to the top of this page and click the Buy button now.

Bargello = Strip Quilts with an Attitude! Apparent movement is the main attraction for quilts designed in the bargello tradition. The placement of the individual pieces along with the varying widths of the strips produces what your eyes perceive as movement -- which tends to be very engaging and interesting. Bargello Quilts Photo Gallery consists of photos of my work in fiber from 1975 through present. They are being presented with the hope that other quilters can glean ideas they can incorporate into their own quilting efforts. Originally published in 2010, this current edition includes 4 new quilts finished in 2015.
