About this series
Australian author Renee Dahlia takes us back to Merindah Park for this rural romance about letting go of the past and the healing power of horses.
It should be the perfect country romance between next door neighbours, but an accident threatens to stop it before it begins. Can they overcome the guilt and find love?
Jockey Serena Bassett had a nice life as a country jockey living in a small town, but when a racing accident leaves her with a brain injury, she wonders if there is more to life than being the good twin, the dependable one. She creates a survival list, carefully keeping her neighbour Lee off the public version of her list. Yes, she'd love to kiss the enigmatic, handsome horse trainer, but her newly discovered personal bravery doesn't extend quite that far...
Horse trainer Lee Edwards is being ripped apart by guilt. He caused the accident that injured Serena, while his horse was uninjured. Being a horse trainer suits him; it's a solitary life and he doesn't have to answer to anyone's demands or listen to his father's voice telling him he will fail. When Serena Basset turns up on his doorstep five months after the accident he caused, he is forced to confront his responsibility over the accident. He can't wipe away that guilt, knowing he screwed up, just like his father predicted he would. He can't accept the easy way her and her brother forgive him. He doesn't want friends, and he sure as hell doesn't want a relationship. Except he can't say no to Serena.

- Merindah Park (Merindah Park, #1)
1
A brand new rural romance series about an emerging racehorse stud and the family desperately trying to make their racing dreams come true. 'Money lost, nothing lost. Courage lost, everything lost.' Can two people take the ultimate gamble and fall in love? They say one good horse can change your address and farm manager John Bassett has found that horse. Since the death of his gambling-addicted father, John has lifted his family farm out of a financial hole, but now it is time to take Merindah Park back to the top. When last year's Japanese Derby winner Tsuyoi Red comes on the market, John knows this horse is the perfect stallion to relaunch Merindah Park. A visit to Japan to inspect the horse results in a meeting that will lead to John gambling his heart too. Veterinarian Toshiko Sato uses her superior mathematical ability to secretly, and successfully, bet on racehorses. Her family wants her to marry the neighbour, so the two farms can be joined together, but when a handsome straight-talking Australian arrives at the farm to buy a horse, she takes the chance to travel with him before deciding. When her secret is revealed, she risks losing her future, her family, and her heart.
- Making Her Mark (Merindah Park, #2)
2
A brand-new Merindah Park story about second chances and risking it all for love. Her best friend's brother and a betting scam. Can the rules be broken to help a friend, or will it only be hearts that are broken? Jockey Rachel Bassett has worked hard to prove herself in the male-dominated racing world, and on the day of her greatest success, her first group one winner, her world comes crashing down when a public breakup with her girlfriend leaves her temporarily homeless. When her friend offers her a place to stay, she doesn't want to spend any time with Allira's handsome brother, but when his friend gets involved in a racing scandal, she has a decision to make. Footy player Jacob Mullagh has a loving family who nurtured his athletic career. He cares deeply for his sister and his friends, while working hard on maintaining a clean image. His sister's new housemate is an athlete who is almost perfect for him, except for one thing: she's the opposite to all the strong, nurturing women in his life - bold, brash, prickly. When some of Jacob's mates get involved in a punter's club gone wrong, and Rachel is accused of breaking the rules of racing, Jacob must choose between helping his friends, believing in Rachel, or keeping his clean image.
