About this series

People and animals jumping at random between parallel Earths. Merlin and his friends trapped and out of contact. What's going on in the Multiverse? The Terran Team try to sort it, discovering a rift within the multiversal fabric that's keeping open the barriers between parallel worlds. Their investigations lead them to the virtual Detainment World, with its bird-like sentinels, alien detainees, and the challenges of the Training Arena, set in a strange virtual world of its own. Can the team do anything to stop the havoc caused by alien animals materializing in Oakham? Can they restore contact with Merlin? Can they work out how to seal the multiversal rift before it grows too large to seal? This is their most challenging challenge yet.

The Multiversal Chronicles: Book One Strange Adventure Sam and Luke vanish: there one second, gone the next. That's the last thing Kitty Strange expected to happen while in her lounge after school with her best friend Lizzie, Luke's twin sister, and Toby, Kitty's twin brother. Where have her younger sister and Luke disappeared to? Minutes later, Kitty, Toby, and Lizzie materialize in a parallel world, with just one clue as to where Sam and Luke are. What do they do next?  Launch a rescue mission, of course, that leads them to an academy for gifted children owned by Dr Ravenel Raven, an Aquaterran computing genius. Using a 'jumping machine' he stole from mysterious aliens, Dr Raven plans to visit parallel universes in search of a cure for his sister's incurable illness. But first he needs to get the machine working properly – at any cost. Kitty, Toby, and Lizzie learn that in the first experiments humans have indeed been 'jumped' to Aquaterra but are having memory problems. And what's worse, in an attempt to repair their memories, they'll soon be jumped to Earth and back, which in fact may well scramble their memories beyond repair. The countdown to save Sam and Luke begins – but in a hi-tech alien world where real and virtual are sometimes impossible to distinguish, with armed sentinels chasing them, and with the jumping machine to find, will they be in time? A fast-paced and thrilling sci-fi adventure for middle-grade readers. 266 pages

Arriving on Gaea, there's no sign of their parent copies but a puzzling number of Aquaterran and Terraquan copies. And what's more, Cordelia and Corbin Crow, who own a vast galactic tourism empire, know who Kitty and the others are and start setting them challenges. But why? Are the Crows trying to find out what humans are capable of? Do they want to take over Earth and turn it into another of their tourist planets? Who knows? All Kitty and the others can do is follow up clues, which lead them to an amazing virtual-cum-real experience in Zealandia World where the safety systems fail, so they are instantly in great danger, and things go from bad to worse.
