In un luogo e in un tempo indefiniti, si combatte una guerra anomala, tutti contro tutti. Una resa dei conti totale, senza schieramenti e appartenenze di razza o nazione. Un conflitto liquido e insensato dove ciò che conta è uccidere gli altri per restare in vita il più a lungo possibile. Non c'è altro movente o ideale ad animare le azioni dei protagonisti di questo lungo racconto; ognuno è in guerra per se stesso e contro gli altri. Gli alleati di oggi possono diventare i nemici di domani, basta un niente a modificare equilibri precari e alleanze solo momentanee. Nell'oscuro tramonto dell'umanità c'è più di qualche insensato segreto da dover essere ancora svelato e Pedrag e Misha, padre e figlio, affrontano la guerra in modi differenti, ma per ognuno di loro e dei sopravvissuti che ancora popolano la terra, la fine della guerra sarà qualcosa di ben diverso da ciò che avevano sperato.

Visioni e parole di tre giovani autrici italiane. Tre donne, tre sguardi che si intrecciano per costruire racconto e disegnare mondi. Troppo spesso si pensa che nella letteratura sia il sesso di chi parla a definire l'interlocutore e quindi che una voce femminile possa narrare e rivolgersi solo al femminile. Lo scopo e la forza di questo progetto è mostrare come ogni penna possa parlare e indirizzarsi non a qualcuno, ma a tutti. Le tre scrittrici ci conducono prima a bordo di un treno, dove la vita di una pendolare incontra l'esperienza di una giovane donna, poi tra le sale di un ospedale, per conoscere l'amore informe e la sua battaglia contro la morte, e, infine, nel taccuino di un'estrosa giornalista che condivide con noi la sua intervista ad uno scrittore burbero e scortese. Queste tre autrici ci fanno entrare tra le pagine dei loro occhi per permetterci di leggere parole, le loro, le nostre. Guardano l'umano, lo descrivono, tracciano un segno e poi ci affrontano: "Ecco, come ti vedo!"
