    This is the last book in the Panther Creek Mountain series.

     

    The kids and Jeremiah go to the Secret Cave to camp overnight.

    During the night, they are awakened by the sounds of a panther trying to get in through the stick door they have put over the opening to the cave.

    After a few days, they return to the cave in search of the bank robber's loot that was supposedly left there years ago.

     

    Later, asleep in their cabin, the family is awakened during the night to a sound they have never heard before. It awakens all the neighbors as well.

     

    The next day the kids went to Mr. Hollin's store and asked the old mountain men if they heard the sounds. The old men told them that there are tales of an animal-man-like creature known locally as BigFoot in the mountains. "Maybe it was him that made the sounds."

     

    Fascinated by such a creature, they return to the Secret Cave and discover huge man-like foot tracks close to their cave!

    They discover BigFoot and more, so enjoy reading about this creature and what happens next!
