      2150 AD.  Earth is in crisis. There's hardly any water left.  Mars is in crisis. Civil war is looming.  Hansel & Gretel, a multi-planetary company hell bent on owning every resource in the solar system.  In the midst of all this, one man who has unwittingly done their bidding.  When an employee of Hansel & Gretel high-tails it to Mars after first helping himself to some company funds, it seems like just another felon retrieval job for Harry Watt. A trip to the Red Planet sounds like fun, but Harry soon discovers something stinks about his latest case, and it's not one of his socks. To try and find the answers, he realizes he must first travel to Venus Station. But it's not easy to be in two places at once, and getting framed for murder doesn't help, either.  As the case unravels, Harry must call on all his skills to crack the secret of Mars. His dead partner, an erstwhile assistant, and a host of lady friends lend a hand, too. But time is running out.  Can Harry save the day, get the guy, and get the girl? Oh, and prevent a Martian civil war as well?

But Harry's life is seldom simple.  When his former employer, and all round sociopathic capitalistic madman, Judge Headlock, declares war on the Martian colony, Harry is charged with its defence. But that's not all. Civil war is looming, there's something very odd about Phobos, and if that's not enough, the miners have chosen this moment to go on strike, telling anyone who will listen that they are seeing Martians.  If Harry is to save the day, he must travel to Triton, Neptune's giant moon, and confront his most bitter enemy in order to procure atomisers, a weapon so terrible all decent places have banned them. But there's just one snag. How do you get to the fringes of the solar system quickly enough, and then get back in time to prevent an invasion? Luckily for Harry, Professor Hardwick, the foremost authority on all things quantum, lives in Mars Central, and claims to have developed a brand new engine, one that will make the StrateLine Drive as obsolete as a carthorse. However, there's a problem. Hardwick is certified, not to mention crazy for his ex-wife, a lady Harry knows all too well. Harry must trust to luck that the professor doesn't remember him, and is not the nut case everyone says he is.  Will Harry get to Triton and back in time? Will he get the guns? Will he keep his testicles? Find out as he and his crew embark on an outer solar system odyssey, a journey destined to make heroes of some, and martyrs of others.

    Hello and welcome to my author page. I have been interested in science fiction and space travel since a young boy. Growing up with the Apollo moon missions helped I suppose. In school, when asked to write fiction during English class, it was always science fiction for me. I never considered writing anything else. Fiction can take you anywhere, the limit is your imagination, but science fiction can take you so much further. To the stars and back! I first took up the pen to write seriously in my early 20's, and wrote scores of short stories, one of which was publish in a local newsletter. I am originally from the UK, having emigrated to Australia's Gold Coast in 2007 with my wife and two children. I write whenever I can, and do not believe in writer's block. I love to write, even if it's a shopping list, but just as important to me is the feedback I receive from my readers.
