About this series
When the bodies of two young boys are found and two other boys are abducted, Detective Kara Jameson finds herself transferred to Luxembourg to track down a vicious predator and rescue his captives before he kills again. - A Dream of Death (Detective Lincoln Munroe, Book 1)
1
Ontario Provincial Police Detective Lincoln Munroe is coming up empty. As a serial killer terrorizes the area surrounding London, Ontario, Canada, Lincoln finds himself at a standstill waiting for the perfect killer to make his first mistake. While the body count rises without any leads, Lincoln finds himself haunted by dreams of discovering skeletal remains in the forest beneath a bloody knife. The dreams seem to come true when Lincoln is called to Algonquin Park to assist an old colleague. There he is tasked with overseeing the excavation of human remains buried more than twenty-five years earlier; remains that will bring to the surface cold cases, a painful past and memories Lincoln had long since forgotten. 'A Dream of Death' is the first in a series of character-driven police procedurals written by a Canadian police officer. Continue reading after the story for an excerpt of book two in the series, 'Blue Rubicon', now available in eBook format from numerous retailers.
- Blue Rubicon (Detective Lincoln Munroe, Book 2)
2
When an on-duty member of the Ontario Provincial Police is found dead in his cruiser of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, only Lincoln Munroe - now a patrol Sergeant - knows the truth. The officer was murdered, and all the evidence points to the suspect being another cop. But in a line of work where right and wrong aren't always separate, and where 'above the law' is the motto of too many, Lincoln finds himself on an ethical tightrope, working both sides of the police force in an attempt to unravel a web of corruption in an unsanctioned investigation that may cost him his life. 'Blue Rubicon' continues the character-driven story of Detective Lincoln Munroe begun in 'A Dream of Death'.
- Death By Degrees (Detective Lincoln Munroe, Book 3)
3
"He was an adversary to be feared, that much I knew, and I couldn't help but think I'd met my Moriarty." A simple e-mail; short, sweet and to the point: a victim’s name, GPS coordinates, and the fact that the body will be found in a shallow grave. Addressed to Detective Lincoln Munroe, OPP Homicide, and signed with the killer’s name and address, the e-mail is found - with help from an unexpected source - to be one of sixty-four, all nearly identical and sent to police services around the world. Lincoln finds himself recruited by Interpol - along with a few of his coworkers - to track down an international serial killer who is convinced he’ll never be stopped and who will do anything to prove that he can’t be. In a global game of cat-and-mouse, one question remains: who’s hunting whom?
