    Hi, I’m Holly Kingsley, a speculative fiction romance writer. My stories encompass many types of speculative fiction from paranormal to fantasy and even science fiction. My love of myth, adventure, and romance are blended into every story I write. I grew up loving books, libraries, and bookstores, and always thought about writing, but didn’t have the courage until I entered University. I started my writing journey when I realized (and became fed up) that people of color were barely represented in fantasy, science fiction, paranormal stories, and speculative fiction in general. A different story needed to be told, every type of person should be able to experience Vampires, Witches, Ghosts, and all things extra-ordinary. I decided I would write the stories I wanted to see on the shelves; therefore all my stories feature a protagonist of color in a speculative fiction setting. I studied Anthropology and Literature at University. My continual thirst for knowledge of myths, legends, cultures, and writing has fueled my creativity.
