Death is where it all ends, the very definition of finality, or at least it’s supposed to be. It’s quite logical to believe that when a body dies, so dies everything inside of it – every breath, every thought, every single emotion ever felt. But there is a legend that tells quite a different story. This legend hints towards the possibility of an existence after death, and maybe even another chance at life. But before any such steps could ever be taken, three magical stones must first be gathered together. These otherwise regular balls of rock were known by Witchkind as the Elysian Stones, and legend spoke of their ability to somehow create a connection to the after-realm of death. The former self-proclaimed king, Orleans, knew this, and he made sure to maintain their possession as they were chased away from their former home. But after keeping these three Elysian Stones hidden from his own brood, one of them ultimately went missing, while the other two remained tucked away within a mysterious underground labyrinth, designed to kill any who entered it. And that’s exactly where the brood of Saint Claude needed to travel if they wished to gain possession of them. So while the oblivious Vampire Storm known as Reggio gets dragged beneath the dirt in search of these two remaining Elysian Stones, the two witch sisters of Tytanicus continue their struggle to harness his unique powers for themselves. And as the tension built between two former friends finally reaches a breaking point, bringing a wizard and warlock to each other’s throats, a ghostly face is at last revealed... all upon a river’s crescent.

From the flames of extinction they have risen. Breaking away from the chains of destiny, from the grip of death itself, they have trampled across the bridge of reality. Riding upon the wings of destruction, wielding the fate of all life upon their blades, what once was dead has now returned to life. The empire of old will be lifted upon their shoulders, built from the ashes of the ruin they create. To devour all of Terra, the Demons have brought their conquests to the very soils of the Earth. But standing in their path are the last known remnants of hope, the lone defenders of life. Known as the Protectors of Terra, they are the flickering candle within the all-consuming darkness. But wherever there is light, the dark is always at its side. Even that flickering candle will cast a shadow, giving that light a darkness of its own. So as these ancient inhabitants of Earth rise up to defend the long forgotten, war torn past from a foe thought to be gone forever, they will learn that forever hadn't lasted long enough.

Before the survivors of Witchkind were able to find safe haven upon a mighty river’s crescent, secret settlements were spread all across the globe, all hidden from the still evolving Human Race. One of those settlements was built atop a mountain’s peak, and was known as Peace. But their mountaintop home couldn’t remain hidden forever. Ever since the Great Witch Purges began, no magical creature was safe from the wrath of man. This is the story of when that home of theirs was first discovered by humanity, and their peace was torn asunder.

Brought together by forces far beyond themselves, three witches will unite. Forging a path against the grain of fate, their true intentions become apparent. After first being introduced upon a mighty river’s crescent, they were last seen atop a mountain settlement, the day that Peace was torn asunder. Now they fight against the mistakes that were made, on that day and before, the mistakes left burned eternally within the stones of time. These are the memories of those three witches, a short yet insightful glimpse into the mysterious pasts of Chelsia Starbroken, Heather Hopewoven, and Jane Saint Marie.

After a surprise attack by the wizard Palmisano left the three Elysian Stones missing, it was the young Tereshka Tytanicus who at last guided the Vampire Storm into her arms, and it was Arabi who held the young witch Angela in his – beaten, bloodied, and left within an inch of death after her encounter with that very same Vampire Storm. So as Angela clings to life, across the swamp the vampire is left to search for the true attacker while yet another struggle for power unfolds within the brood of Saint Claude. The only question is... will Marigny be able to quell the rebellion of the recently spelled Saint Claude youths? Or will his own pride serve as his downfall when a tournament is arranged to crown the first Composer of War in recent memory? Either way it goes, as this Witch Game is assembled for the first time in several millennia, it will be the eldest Tytanicus, Jade, who unveils one final scheme to try and pull the vampire to her side. She understood better than almost anyone that this Vampire Storm possessed a power like none other, and controlling him meant controlling the future. But pulling another individual’s will within her own gravity is no simple task, and her celestial struggle will either bring her ancestral spell into being... or it will kill her. And as far as her sister Tereshka was concerned, killing Taryn Jade Tytanicus was exactly the point.

Escaping a hurricane ravaged community on the cusp of being rebuilt for an ocean-side city on the brink of getting destroyed by a Tsunami was never Verona’s plan. But that’s exactly what happened. She had moved to Japan to start a new life, not to end her own. But with no escape as the floodwaters surround her... she had no choice in the matter. All she had was a ring in her hand and a mission to return it to its rightful owner. So could this simple ring slipped around her finger truly transport her from the ocean's cold grasp? Or are the moments after death just incredibly vivid with dream? Can this ordinary girl actually travel through time to find herself to be the centerpiece of a magical war, as the last survivors of Witchkind battle for control? Or is this all just one last nightmare on her way to the afterlife?

With the French settlement destroyed, and their underground chambers left shattered by the flood, the Witches of Saint Claude become torn apart, and that is exactly the time which the brood of Saint Bernard had been waiting for. With their King carrying his own selfish goals, the brood of Saint Claude must somehow find a way to rise up against their mightiest of adversaries, and not only the Elders of Saint Bernard... but adversaries which can only be found by looking inward. As a mighty battle unfolds, both atop and beneath the dirt of their swamp, the power held by those of the past shall be taken by those who fight for the future. But power is often times not so easily taken, and one shift can merely lead to another. So as a Warlock at last takes his full form upon the battlefield, he will not only be faced with the known enemies of his past, but new ones, as well. And his place of power will need to be not only taken, but earned.

It was upon a mighty river’s crescent where the last surviving remnants of Witchkind struggled for supremacy of their future. But before any wars could be fought, these witches first needed to survive the convergence of two massive storms, each holding ramifications of their own. One storm had been swirling across the warm coastal waters of their newly founded land, building strength as it did, one of fierce wind and deepening water - while the other had been following a great river southwards, tracing its course in search of his own identity, a storm of regenerating flesh and self-binding bones, and one with the ability to drag the fates of all the future along whichever path he chose. So as the swamp fills with water, three witches shall begin their silent battle for this new power, and thus the future... but not all of them will be able to escape that flood with their lives.
