THE LONG AWAITED ANTHOLOGY, THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS OF THE COLONEL LANDRY SERIES ARE FINALLY TOGETHER IN ONE BOOK!

FERAL PLANET

This novel is the "flagship" of the Colonel Landry Space Adventure Series. It is the 25th Century. The space cruiser Beagle, under command of Colonel Kendrick Landry, explores a planet ravaged by war millennia ago, now inhabited by hostile savage humanoids. The Beagle is shot down and grounded by an ancient, mechanized planetary defense network created by an advanced civilization long pre-dating the humanoid savages. The humanoids abduct two women officers: the sexy and sultry Maya Terrazone and the bright but petulant Veronica Winters. Landry leads a rescue party to find and rescue the two women. But even if the Beagle crew make repairs and regain orbit around the planet, then the ancient planetary defense network may fire upon them a second--and likely fatal--final time.

DOME OF SLAVERY

The starcraft Aurora travels to planet Alpha Centauri B-III where Colonel Landry discovers that descendants from the colonization crew of Green Horizon, Earth's first interstellar starcraft, are living in centuries-old enslavement to a lizard-like race. Head-strong Major Will Adams provokes an attack by the lizard command to justify a retaliatory pre-emptive strike. The lizards attack with surprisingly devastating force. Now the command and crew of the Aurora will be lucky to ensure their own survival--let alone assist in liberation of the lizards' human slaves.

FINAL BATTLE

On the far off Earth colonial planet of Sirius V, settled long ago by North Americans and Europeans on a Western continent and by radical religious zealots from Earth's Middle East on an Eastern continent, a final showdown is about to occur. The Eastern continent has been attacking the West. Colonel Landry travels to Sirius V in the starcraft Aurora to locate and destroy a hidden radical base on the planet. As it turns out, the hidden base is on the other side of a dimensional portal in an alternate world. Colonel Landry takes the fight there along with forces led by military leader Colonel Leonard Goldstein.

IN SEARCH OF KRONOS

A tight and intricate tale of postwar peoples obsessed with finding an elusive, mythical master entity called "Kronos"-- a hybrid of man and computer which is seen as the solution to life's problems. Colonel Landry travels in the strarcraft Aurora with tycoon Maxwell Rheinhardt offering "seed money" to rebuild worlds defeated in a long ago bloody war. The mission's ulterior motive is to determine once and for all whether Kronos really exists or was only a wartime myth. The reader will go back and forth on that issue in this fast page-turner filled with action, engaging characters, and ample plot twists.

AMIRA: WARRIOR QUEEN OF CRUCIDA

Amira is the beautiful young jungle woman on the planet of Crucida. She is leader to the humanoids fighting cruel opposing tribes led by the humanoid Aku. Stranded on the planet as a child when her parents' spaceship crashed, Amira was abducted and befriended by sentient, telepathic wolf -like creatures. Colonel Landry dispatches military leader Colonel Goldstein (from "Final Battle") and his soldiers to help. Colonel Goldstein joins forces with Amira in a hopeless quest against all odds to defeat Aku's armies which fight alongside high-tech outworlder alien soldiers called "Krull." The final outcome of Amira's struggle with Aku and his forces is both tragic and poignant, but nonetheless embodies a triumph of the human spirit against overwhelming evil.

GRAND CLASSIC SCIENCE-FICTION SPACE ADVENTURE IN THE TRADITION OF ROBERT A. HEINLEIN STRANDED AND SURROUNDED! --First In Bryan Smith's "Colonel Landry" Space Adventure Series. It is the 25th Century. The space cruiser Beagle, under the command of Colonel Kendrick Landry, explores a planet ravaged by war millennia ago, now inhabited by hostile savage humanoids. The Beagle is shot down and grounded by an ancient, mechanized planetary defense network created by an advanced civilization long pre-dating the humanoid savages. The humanoids abduct two women officers: the sexy and sultry Maya Terrazone and the bright but petulant Veronica Winters. Colonel Landry leads a rescue party to find and bring back the two women with the help of Veronica’s pet telepathic alien tiger Jones. But if the women still live and Landry rescues them, can his group survive another crossing of the desert terrain--teeming with the savage humanoids--to return to the Beagle? The humanoids are going extinct because long-ago biological warfare killed all the females. Can the Beagle genetic scientists create females to distract the savage male humanoids and permit the crew to make repairs and escape? But even if the Beagle crew makes repairs and regains orbit around the planet, then the ancient planetary defense network may fire upon them a second--and likely fatal--final time. GOLDEN WRITING, MEMORABLE CHARACTERS A lean and flowing prose style. A well-crafted plot. Well-developed characters. The beautiful and temperamental Veronica Winters. The supremely sexual and tough while yet sensitive Maya Terrazone. Colonel Kendrick Landry is a supremely focused, capable, and yet vulnerable man. Still haunted by a near-death event of many years ago. The reader is drawn deep under his skin, and views the distant world of “Sigma Theta III” from his perspective as he struggles desperately to save his crew and himself from becoming hopelessly marooned and dying on the planet. The novel creates a stark vision of determined men and women fighting for survival against overwhelming odds. THE SCIENCE OF “FERAL PLANET” Much of the Sci-Fi space adventure of today makes only routine and passing reference to such concepts as faster-than-light space travel and the “beaming” of characters from one location to another. Concepts that were staples of the Golden Age Sci-Fi of the 1950's and 1960's and provided inspiration for much filmography including of course the famous “Star Trek” franchise. Golden Age Sci-Fi coined the term “astrogation” for navigation in space. Later sci-fi defaulted to the term "navigator" (e.g. Mr. Sulu in Star Trek). "Feral Planet" adopts the terms "astrogation" and "astrogator" in part as a tribute to the Sci-Fi Golden Age. “Feral Planet” gives particular attention to faster than light travel accomplished by way of “space warping” as written about in scientific journals by theoretical physicist Miguel Alcubierre. The novel provides detail as to how such processes might actually work. A RENAISSANCE OF SPACE OPERA "Feral Planet" harkens back to Science Fiction's Golden Age of such distinguished writers as Robert A. Heinlein, Poul Anderson, and H. Beam Piper. Yet the novel achieves its own fresh modern originality. Good Sci-Fi "Space Opera" has become a rarity today. But for lovers of the genre "Feral Planet" marks a fresh new resurgence of an old favorite. The novel is compelling modern Sci-Fi Space Opera at its best. "Feral Planet" will be a welcome relief for readers tired out of the contemporary vogue clichés of vampires, werewolves, dragons and princesses, galactic empires, and "star wars." FIRST OF A SERIES "Feral Planet" is the first in the Colonel Landry Space Adventure Series. Four other novels in the series are scheduled for release: --Dome of Slavery --Final Battle --In Search of Kronos --Amira, Warrior Queen of Crucib

**SPECIAL PRICE OF 99 CENTS FOR LIMITED TIME ONLY! REGULAR PRICE $2.99** WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN LIBERATING HUMAN SLAVES IS AGAINST THE LAW? Colonel Kendrick Landry and other central characters from "Feral Planet" return for more classic sci-fi space adventure. It is the 25th Century. The starcraft Aurora travels to planet Alpha Centauri B-III and the Aurora commander Colonel Kendrick Landry discovers that descendants of the colonization crew of the Green Horizon, Earth's first interstellar starcraft, are living in centuries-old enslavement to a lizard-like race. The First Intergalactic Alliance does not permit liberation of the human slaves because the planet is not a member of the Alliance and subject to Alliance law. Alliance law, however, would sanction the Aurora's defense--including even offensive action against the lizard government, permitting its overthrow by human resistance fighters on the planet--but only if the lizard government has attacked first. Without the knowledge or consent of Colonel Landry, head-strong Major Will Adams devises a scheme to provoke an attack by the lizard command and so justify a retaliatory pre-emptive strike. The lizards attack with surprisingly devastating force. Now the command and crew of the Aurora will be fortunate to ensure their own survival--let alone assist in liberation of the lizards' human slaves. "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." Lord Acton (quote from epigram to Dome Of Slavery)

FINAL BATTLE . . . GRAND MILITARY SCIENCE-FICTION INSPIRED BY TODAY'S HEADLINES! THROUGH THE DIMENSIONAL PORTAL TO FIND THE HIDDEN RADICAL EASTERN BASE IN ANOTHER WORLD . . . FINAL BATTLE is the third novel in Bryan Smith's Colonel Landry space adventure series. It is an intriguing blend of military science-fiction, space opera, spy novel, suspense, romance, political science fiction, and more. It is the 25th Century. On the far off Earth colonial planet of Sirius V, settled long ago by North Americans and Europeans on a Western continent and by radical religious zealots from Earth's Middle East on an Eastern continent, a final showdown is about to occur. The Eastern continent has been attacking the West. The First Intergalactic Alliance dispatches Colonel Landry to Sirius V in the starcraft Aurora to locate and destroy a hidden radical base on the planet. After the Aurora's military fighters disable and occupy two Eastern headquarters, there should have been no more attacks on the West. But the attacks continue, apparently from the invisible hidden base which Landry was sent to locate and destroy. As it turns out, the hidden Eastern base is located in a version of the same planet existing in a parallel universe which can be entered through a man-made "wormhole" in the mountains. A treacherous double agent guide from the West leads Landry and his team through the wormhole where Landry and beautiful blonde Major Veronica Winters are taken captive and ransomed by the sinister Eastern leader Bin Obami--to die a horrible death if the terrorist demands are not met The novel's futuristic events are drawn from everyday headlines of the growing terrorist threat to the world. Fans of the Colonel Landry series will be glad to see all the mainstay characters. Landry himself, the rebellious Major Adams, sexy Maya, and petulant Veronica. And, of course, charming telepathic Tiger Jones. The reader will see another side to Jones in this new novel. Suffice it to say that he does not take any stuff off anyone who wants to hurt Veronica. The author introduces a number of engaging new characters. Colonel Goldstein, the aggressive military commander who fights a war against radical insurgents on Earth colony Sirius V that are much like the Middle East terrorists of Earth today. Major Abdul Ramen copes with tragic injury and ostracism by other starcraft crew members and, in the end, proves to be among the most worthy of them. "TORG" the voice-activated robot with a deadly energy ray "zapper" that the reader won't soon forget. The two evil sultans "Bin Obami" who seek to spread the conquest of radical Islam across multiple dimensions. The treacherous "double agent" Armand. FINAL BATTLE is a worthy addition to the now three volume Colonel Landry series, as unique as its predecessors DOME OF SLAVERY and the series flagship FERAL PLANET. As usual, the new FINAL BATTLE is remarkable for its special narrative "voice" and the lean but descriptive prose that has become the author's hallmark. WARNING: GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, SEXUALITY, AND STRONG LANGUAGE

MORE GRAND SCIENCE-FICTION SPACE ADVENTURE! This is the fourth novel of the "Colonel Kendrick Landry" space adventure series, nostalgically reminiscent of the "pulp" science-fiction of the 1950's and the original Star Trek of the 1960's. Bryan Smith has woven a tight and intricate tale of postwar peoples obsessed with finding an elusive, mythical master entity called "Kronos"--a hybrid of man and computer, which is perceived as the solution to life's problems. The suspense builds as Colonel Landry travels in the starcraft Aurora with intergalactic tycoon Maxwell Rheinhardt, who offers "seed money" to rebuild the former Federation worlds defeated in a long-ago bloody war with the First Intergalactic Alliance. An ulterior motivation of Landry's mission to rebuild is to determine once and for all whether Kronos exists. Landry meets a mystical cult leader named Robert Zilhoff who is bent upon finding Kronos. Zilhoff appears to be a key in the search for Kronos. But what is Zilhoff's true identity, and what does he really want with Kronos? Landry views an old newscast with a Federation official suggesting that Kronos was mere wartime propaganda. But he is later led to the planet Varcon where he meets "Kronos seeker" Jonathan Farrow. Farrow guides Landry into the modern 25th Century City of Kronos where two of Landry's men have already disappeared amid drone-like people that are joined together into a collective consciousness. Is Kronos real or a myth? The reader will be going back and forth on this issue until its resolution in the satisfying ending of this novel, peopled with engaging characters and with ample plot twists to keep the reader excitedly turning the pages.

EPIC SPACE OPERA ADVENTURE! In this fifth installment of the Colonel Landry Space Adventure Series, Amira is this novella's title character. She is the beautiful young jungle woman on the distant planet of Crucida. She is the leader of the humanoid tribes fighting cruel opposing tribes led by the humanoid named Aku. Stranded on the planet twenty-five years ago when her Earth scientist parents' starcraft crashed in an electro-magnetic storm, Amira was abducted as a five-year-old by the planet's race of sentient, telepathic wolf -like creatures. She has become the warrior queen of Crucida and the "wolves" fight along side her in fierce battles against Aku. Colonel Landry vilsirs the planet in the starcraft Aurora. He dispatches military leader Colonel Martin Goldstein (from the third novel, "Final Battle") and his batallion of soldiers to investigate whether the Krull, a cruel but advanced race from the Andromeda galaxy, are interfering in the planet's status quo and providing 25th Century weaponry and military aid to tribesmen seeking to overwhelm Amira's forces. Landry refuses to believe that his old friend is a Krull collaborator. But when Colonel Goldstein learns the truth about Aku, he joins forces with Amira in a hopeless quest against all odds to defeat Aku's armies. which fight alongside high-tech Krull soldiers. The ultimate outcome of Amira's struggle with Aku and his forces is both tragic and poignant, but nonetheless embodies a triumph of the human spirit against overwhelming evil. "Amira" is a modern re-telling of the classic "Amazon woman" story in the context of science-fiction space opera with a litte original Star Trek and a dash of Avatar thrown in for good measure. The story spans a period of twenty-five years, and with agile resort to flashback and omniscient author narrative, the reader barely notices the transitions between the involved time frames.
