In search of the engineer who crafted a tiny brass cannon, Captain Tripp Vaguely and his closest cohort, Ghost-Tongue have ventured into Arcadia, the mythical realm of fairies. Misguided and mistaken, the duo find themselves at odds against one creature after the next under a sky littered with starlit limericks. Lives lost or otherwise thoroughly threatened pave the way for antics and heroics both great and hilarious as the Captain ekes out what victories he can. But why all this trouble for one miniature machinist? More is revealed in this, the second "episode" of the Fascination Chronicles!
The Vulgar Gnome of Kettle's Knob is the second short story installment of the Extraordinary Adventures of Captain Tripp Vaguely and the second book in the Fascination Chronicles; a humorous adventure series by author, Ziggy Tausend and his Clandestine Tales. It takes the reader along the next step in the Captain's mysterious goal. Poking fun whilst simultaneously embracing the pulp format of bygone years, the Extraordinary Adventures of Captain Tripp Vaguely are quick journeys through the fantastic. An Edisonade-style steampunk genre infused with mythology and humor, the Captain's stories are but the opening of the door into a realm without boundaries.
