    Traci had children now. The oldest, Matt was just a toddler. She’d given birth to him almost exactly nine months after they’d met. Marc had never imagined having a family; it was something to consider. Chris had been the one that wanted a large family. His heart was heavy thinking of his brother.
    Hamilton Ranch International was successful. The Chilean vineyards produced top selling crops that were used in value wines the world over. The Australian vineyards had been difficult but were coming into their own. He could afford to spend a little time in the United States.
    Traci had grown as a woman. She wasn’t the broken girl he’d found in his brother’s arms that fateful day. He still regretted that moment of anger. No, she didn’t need him anymore. She could fight her own battles and was wealthy in her own right. Hell, her picture was all over New York City on taxis and billboards, even in the occasional magazine he glanced at.
    Chris had done an amazing job of helping Traci regain her physical and emotional self. Whatever she was today or became tomorrow, she owed to his brother Chris. So if she didn’t need him emotionally, or financially how would he win her over? He wondered if the spark between them could be re-ignited. He’d have to be patient, and Marc wasn’t a patient man.

      Marc Hamilton’s busy but ordered life is turned upside down when he meets Traci Talman. He is a rising star in the wine world and has been in Australia, working on establishing a new International brand. Two weeks spent helping a friend and crew of eight sail a boat from Hawaii to the central coast of California gets him to his beach house in the middle of the night. All he wants is a shower and a warm bed. He finds his bed occupied by a sleeping woman. Assuming she is a friend of his brother Chris, and to tired to bother with her, he curls his six foot two frame on the sofa for a cramped nights sleep. The morning finds her claiming to have rented the beach house from an Internet vacation rental company, although she can’t produce the signed rental documents. A stolen car, illicit drugs, maxed out credit card, bounced check and zero balance in her bank account leaves the woman at Marc’s mercy. Traci Talman, a young independent barmaid from Texas decides to start her own Event Planning business in the central coast wine region of California. No sooner does she reach California than she falls into some kind of hellhole where her money, credit, car, and good name disappear. The only good thing to enter her life is Marc Hamilton. Handsome former Marine, owner of one of California’s largest vineyards is sympathetic to her plight and invites her to stay as his houseguest until she gets her affairs in order. The whisper of his hand against her skin sends Traci to a place she’s never imagined. They are soon entangled in a tempestuous affair. He wants her to stay with him at the ranch and she yearns to regain her independent lifestyle although she lacks the means to achieve her goal. With Marc, she knows the heights of passion but all too soon they are overwhelmed by circumstances over which they have no control.

    Yvonne Phillips, married at 15 and a mother of two at 17. Graduated from night school and earned a B.A. from CSUN. She spent 25 years as a telecommunications manager and owned an antique business for 15 years. Yvonne has two children, four grandchildren and is still married to her high school sweetheart. The Winemakers' Dance is her debut book, volume one of her Hamilton Ranch series. Yvonne has always enjoyed reading and set out to write a book that she would enjoy reading. She succeeded.
