2
Bubba Snoddy's got some problems. His family has descended for the Christmas holidays and not in a good way. His cousin wants to own the Snoddy Mansion, decrepit, falling down columns, termites, wood rot and all and isn't above using manipulative behavior to achieve his ends. Miz Demetrice is up to nefarious and illegal activities while trying to entertain relatives. His cousin's ten year old son is the personification of a demon and has hobbies of looking at medical photographs, making stun guns from scratch, and causing havoc wherever he roams. The woman of Bubba's dreams, Deputy Willodean Gray, is still evading his romantic pursuits. Patients from the local mental institute are wandering over the town, ostensibly assisting with the Christmas Festival thanks to a program established by the mayor to cut costs. And Bubba has just found the dead body of a man dressed as Santa in the Christmas scene at City Hall. Oh, Pegramville, Texas is just the best place to be at Christmas if a fella has a bullet proof vest and a linebacker's helmet. All the folks think Bubba might have done did it…again, even though it was proven that he didn't done did it the first time, and Bubba has to move quickly in order to catch a murderer. Book 2 of the Bubba series.
- Bubba and the Missing Woman: Bubba, #3
3
Quite naturally, Bubba's got another problem. The woman he likes, a lot, is missing. Folks 'round Pegramville don't have an inkling whether Bubba done did anything this time. In fact, Bubba doesn't know what to think, but he is plumb dedicated on finding Willodean Gray, through fair means or foul. It will take a trip to the big city of Dallas, a run-in with an unstable superhero called The Purple Singapore Sling, a kidnapping by a Dallas crime lord, and a headlong hunt for a devious individual who snatched the fair Sheriff's Deputy to figure out which end is up. What Bubba comes to understand is not all the crazy folks live in the country. Bubba's on the edge and he's goin' hog-wild in a donut factory! Book 3 of the Bubba series.
- Bubba and the Mysterious Murder Note: Bubba, #5

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to Pegramville… Oh no! Bubba's got problems…again! For months, Pegramville and Pegram County have been relatively peaceful. But then there's the "attack" of the Pegramville Murder Mystery Festival, organized by none other than Miz Demetrice herself. Who knew people would make fun of the murders that happened in their own town? To add a spoonful of hot pepper to the mix, the local judge has just announced his run for the gubernatorial seat of Texas, and The Purple Singapore Sling has a new persona, causing all kinds of confusion, chaos, and commotion. During the midst of the festival madness, Bubba's truck has broken down, and he's found a cache of original car parts. One of the boxes contains a lost soul's plea that may be as old as the antique truck, "If someone finds this note, then I have been murdered. My name is M—." And you thought small towns were boring… Book 4 of the Bubba series. There's things a ten-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl with a penchant for all-things police, want to get in on. Even Bubba and Miz Demetrice can't stop the serious sleuthing of Brownie and the dame! This is a novella of about 34,000 words.
- Bubba and the Zigzaggery Zombies

In addition, Bubba’s also trying to get the beauteous sheriff’s deputy, Willodean, alone for some quality time, when zombies invade in a cinematic manner. Further, the director of the movie is apparently murdered by persons unknown, and someone is pointing a finger directly at Bubba (again). Zigzaggery zombies, fetid filmmakers, maternal madness, and cryptic casualties are all par for the course. What’s a Bubba to do? Bubba and the Zigzaggery Zombies is book 5 in the Bubba series. It's the middle of November, he's ten years old, and they've taken away his homemade Taser. How much trouble could there possibly be?
