About this series
A bargain with a fey lord cannot be unbroken.
Frey holds the fate of both the fey and elven lands in her half-blood hands. The encroaching darkness has crept past the boundary and claimed a life as its toll. If she doesn’t discover a way to end it, the next casualty could be one of her own.
As her Seven rush to discover the source of the darkness, the changelings conspire to break themselves free, bringing forth a new danger--one that could end them all.
Time is running out, and her only chance to defeat the darkness might be to embrace it.
Titles in the series (7)
- The Frey Saga: Molly
Molly dreamt her whole life of living in a world of magic... until the day she walked into one. This short story falls between The Frey Saga Book II: Pieces of Eight and Book III: Rise of the Seven.
- Frey
Nothing is as it seems. Frey's life is a lie. She doesn't remember being bound from magic. She didn't intend to discover this dangerous secret, to get entangled in Council business. But she did. And now she's on the run. With the aid of a stranger, she discovers a world beyond the elves who bound her. But it's a world of shadows and dark magic, a world she's been warned not to trust. The farther she strays, the more she finds a forgotten past. As she fights to reclaim her true identity, Council trackers hunt her down. If they find her, she will burn. The stranger offers her a way out, but it's a path of no return. How do you know who to believe when you don't even know who you are?
- The Frey Saga Book II: Pieces of Eight
Nowhere to turn. The story of Frey continues in this, the second book of the series. Frey had lived in a world where humans were fairy tales. A world where she believed she'd been wrongfully accused. All that had changed. After revealing her dark history, Frey has no choice in her allies. Her old life is the enemy. She needs their protection. Forced to join with a group of strangers whose pasts seem to intertwine with her own, she struggles to regain her memories and her full power, only to find there is more danger on the other side. Except now, there is no going back.
- The Frey Saga Book IV: Venom and Steel
No one to trust. Three seasons of peace come with a price. It’s dark night in the kingdom of the fey when the castle is attacked, and Ruby has gone missing. If Frey can't decipher the clues, one of her Seven might pay with their life. But winged gods and high fey tricksters are plotting to steal more than a Halfling. Frey’s high guard is torn apart, her magic is too volatile, and in three moons the fates will dance. If Frey can’t regain her guard and get a grip on her powers, the fate of the lands will rest in fey hands—but to do so, she must place her trust in one of them.
- The Frey Saga Book III: Rise of the Seven
Nothing to hide. Memories and magic recovered, Frey is restored to the throne. But as she works to regain control of the North, a small silver dagger nearly brings her end. Someone wants her dead. She raises the Seven of her guard and proves her abilities in order to secure her position. But another attempt on her life, from what appears to be fey, reveals not all are pleased with her return. She'll have to find them first. If she could only figure out the force behind the attacks, she might be able to relax enough to decide what to do about her other problem... Chevelle.
- The Frey Saga Book VI: Feather and Bone
A bargain with a fey lord cannot be unbroken. Frey holds the fate of both the fey and elven lands in her half-blood hands. The encroaching darkness has crept past the boundary and claimed a life as its toll. If she doesn’t discover a way to end it, the next casualty could be one of her own. As her Seven rush to discover the source of the darkness, the changelings conspire to break themselves free, bringing forth a new danger--one that could end them all. Time is running out, and her only chance to defeat the darkness might be to embrace it.
- The Frey Saga Book V: Shadow and Stone
No bargains unpaid. After a perilous clash with the fey, the changeling who betrayed the paramount of their laws--and threatens the safety of both realms--has gone into hiding. As Frey and her Seven recover, concealed plans and furtive bargains begin to unravel, putting in danger their old guard and new. They’re on unsteady ground. Scattered and healing, those sworn to protect the North and its lord work to secure their footing. They are running out of time to cure the darkness poisoning the fey lands, before it overflows into the rest of the realm. But Ruby has gone missing, and this time it seems of her own accord. They’re out of time. If they don’t stop her, she’ll face the deadly changeling alone. But more forces are at play than it seems, and the fey lord confined on his lands by treachery and two half-human elves has made a bargain of his own.
