      The problem with this is everyone knew of the affair. And it didn’t just happen once. The poor heroine will be humiliated over and over again with people talking about it and having the other woman thrown in her face. The hero never really redeemed himself (just sooked and said the right words), and while the heroine said forgiveness would take time, it was pretty much instantaneously. So that was disappointing too.
