The Dallas Mavericks opened the NBA playoffs with a dud against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon, falling down by 29 points and ultimately losing, 109-97. Despite Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combining for 64 points, the Kawhi Leonard-less Clippers were still able to get the win thanks to an abysmal offensive first half from the Mavs. Dalton Trigg and Drew Johnson recap everything that happened in Game 1 and look ahead to what adjustments should be made heading into Game 2 on Tuesday.
