A storm system over the central Plains this evening will continuenortheastward into the Great Lakes region by tomorrow afternoon, with anarea of rain and some thunderstorms along its path across the Corn Beltsouthward to the Ozarks tonight into early Wednesday. By tomorrow, thefront will continue eastward and afternoon thunderstorms are againpossible ahead of the cold front over parts of the Midwest. Temperatureswill be mild ahead of the cold front across the Ohio Valley, reaching intothe 70s (north) to 80s farther south across the Lower Mississippi Valley.Lighter rain is expected farther north toward the Canadian border, amidstcooler temperatures in the 50s/60s, as well as into the Mid-Atlantic andNortheast as the system starts to weaken.Farther west, colder temperatures behind another cold front moving out ofeastern Montana will support snow over much of the northern Rockies andinto the foothill locations, especially over northern Wyoming. Snow willcontinue across western Montana tonight and slowly taper off on Wednesdayas the system exits the mountains, but will start to bring some rain tothe central Plains starting early Thursday. For the Southwest, warmertemperatures into the 80s/90s will be common tomorrow under fairconditions.
