Description
Twelve years ago, Martyna Pastuszka founded and has since artistically led the {oh!} Orkiestra, specializing in a repertoire from Baroque to late Romanticism. In addition to purely instrumental music, Martyna has a particular interest in baroque and classical opera. As a concertmaster and conductor/violinist, she collaborates with top European ensembles operating within the Historcally Informed Performance Practice movement.
She leads a class on historical violins at the Academy of Music in Katowice (Poland), and is invited as a lecturer for summer courses in early music. Privately, she is the mother of Feliks and Gustaw, living in the countryside with her husband Adam.
