You meet a guy and he love bombs you. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's when a guy first meets you and showers you with compliments, gifts and attention, and tells you "I love you" though he barely knows you at all. You fall for this and you suddenly you're wrapped up in a faux romance that's often the precursor to emotional and sometimes physical abuse. This is what happened to my guest today whom we'll call Genevieve. But this was just the tip of the iceberg after years of cover ups and abuse that plagued Genevieve's relationship.
