Sophie's career began 10 years ago, she was backpacking and ran out of money so offered painting services to a hostel in order to cover her stay. This flipped a switch for her: she left her job back home and decided that she was going to pursue a career in art. Sophie shares her journey from having her bank card declined at the post office to having her work in the National Portrait Gallery.
