It's finally here! The second episode of The Prehistoric Prairie Series is complete. We are moving forward in time from the last ice age to the establishment of prairie across the midwest and plains states. In this episode we will hear from Dr. Russ Benedict of Central College, Taylor Keen of Creighton University and Sacred Seed, Karen Viste-Sparkman of Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, and Todd Bogenschutz of the Iowa DNR. This team of experts shares information on prairie plants, soils, wildlife, and the people who inhabited the prairies.
