Description

Harriet Hadfield is a broadcaster and journalist who’s covered notable news stories for the BBC and Sky News over the past 15 years. Since her marriage broke down suddenly and unexpectedly last year, she and her 3-year-old son Jack have settled on the Isle of Wight to be near her family and to the beach. Jack’s dad lives in Switzerland so they have been learning to cross-border co-parent, made all the trickier during a pandemic. In this episode, Kate and Harriet discuss the challenges that come with co-parenting from different countries, as well as some helpful tips to help co-parents cope with this, and separation in general. Please note: this episode was recorded before the introduction of no-fault divorce in England and Wales, and may mention the previous legal system.
