Returning home to California from Mexico - Matthew Coleman is taken into custody and confesses to killing his two young children with a spearfishing gun. According to the probable cause, Coleman had been following conspiracy theories online and believed his wife had passed her serpent DNA onto their children, which would mean his son and daugther would grow up to become monsters, and Coleman had to kill them in order to save the world.This episode was originally recorded in the summer of 2022 - a year after Matthew Coleman confessed to killing his children. Currently, Matthew is being held in an undisclosed federal location for treatment after being deemed incompetent to stand trial in October 2023. Matthew had a competency hearing scheduled for March 8th, 2024 but it never happened and we still wait.
