About a month ago, the 2023-24 Ohio State basketball season was basically dead. The team had lost 9 of its previous 11 games, and was hovering around the bottom of the conference standings. But after firing head coach Chris Holtmann, the Buckeyes completely turned their season around. Under interim coach Jake Diebler, they knocked off Purdue, Michigan State, and Nebraska as part of the 5-1 stretch to close the regular season.
