Description

On today’s episode Luciana Bonifacio shares how to find passion and joy in work that often involves difficult cultural and emotional topics. Listen in as Laura and Luciana discuss the power of not speaking first, why you should focus on understanding your strengths first to lead others, and the difference between understanding data and understanding perspective. Luciana also shares how focusing on the weight of the language her organization uses to discuss their work impacts the success rate of projects and new opportunities.

Luciana joined Save the Children in 2000, and personally established or expanded partnerships with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks and The Walt Disney Company. She also serves as Chair of Save the Children’s Global Corporate Partnerships Group.
An early leader in the organization’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work and a member of Save the Children’s Latinx Employee Affinity Group, Luciana is committed to increasing talent diversity across the organization.
Born in Argentina, Luciana earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Buenos Aires, where she started her professional career in the fashion industry.
