But her story is one of remarkable resilience in the face of unimaginable trauma, having battled both childhood lupus and later breast cancer as well as two miscarriages. Kathy Kleiner is a remarkable survivor who endured one of the most notorious crimes in American history - the brutal 1978 attacks by serial killer Ted Bundy at the Chi Omega sorority house at Florida State University. Kathy is the author of the book "A Light in the Dark, Surviving More Than Ted Bundy."
