The Carolina Panthers welcomed the New York Jets on Wednesday morning for joint practices ahead of Saturday's preseason opener. The practice offered Bryce Young the first time to see an opposing NFL defense. The Jets arrival also allowed Frank Reich and his staff to see just where his team is at as Training Camp wraps up in Spartanburg.On Tuesday, the Panthers released their first unofficial depth chart. Notably, rookie wide receiver Jonathan Mingo is listed ahead of veterans Terrace Marshall and Laviska Shenault. Mingo backed that up on Wednesday with a strong performance. Cade Mays is also listed as the starting RG, while Austin Corbett continues to rehab from a torn ACL.
