The Lakers have hit another big obstacle in their quest to, well, look something like the team everyone expected them to be when the season began. Anthony Davis is out at least a month. So while there are a bunch of short term questions the Lakers are facing, there are serious long term ones around Davis, as well. As in, do his problems this season shake the confidence he can be "the man" once LeBron James is ready to retire? Or reaches a point in his career where he's not capable of carrying a team?It's not that Davis is wrecked, or isn't an elite player.
