Arizona Cardinals have played well this year despite their 1-3 record. Joshua Dobbs has shined, the wide receiver room led by Hollywood Brown and Michael Wilson have impressed, James Conner has had a strong start to the year, and the offensive line has played well. On the defensive side of the ball, however, it's not as prettty. That's not to say that the philosophy and drive is obviously different from the last regime. Nick Rallis has done a fantastic job transforming the defense into a terror. The problem is, the talent level just isn't there yet. Whether it's Budda Baker and LJ Collier out with injury, or a pass rush and cornerback room that wasn't addressed this offseason, the defense is behind the curve.
