The New York Islanders made some more roster moves on Wednesday due to injuries and salary cap constraints. They placed Hudson Fasching on LTIR and recalled center Kyle MacLean from Bridgeport. This is likely due to the injury suffered by Casey Cizikas on Tuesday night although Cizikas was not placed on IR, at least not yet. We discuss the implications of this move both on and off the ice.
