A leader in the field of veterinary radiation oncology, Dr. Mauldin is one of the only triple-boarded veterinarians, certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and radiation oncology. He has treated more than 2,000 pets with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) since 2010. A veterinary radiation oncologist for more than three decades, Dr. Mauldin's professional career has included clinical leadership positions at VCA Canada Western in Calgary, Canada, the Animal Medical Center in New York City, and Louisiana State University, where he serves as an associate professor and section head, therapeutic radiology for eight years. As Medical Director of PetCure Oncology since 2015, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, Dr. Mauldin provides remote treatment planning and telemedicine for facilities throughout PetCure's network of 8 radiation oncology care centers across the country.
