Dr. Mitchell is an expert in religious anthropology and researches questions of identity and political alignment in various regions… Dr. Mitchell’s primary research site is Malta, an island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Here, he conducted his doctoral research during the 1990s – a time of rapid social and political transformation.
