What is your end goal with your kids? Having a good relationship with our kids is important, but too often, we see parents’ compromise truth and God’s standards to accomplish that goal. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably heard me say that our kitchen table is our greatest mission field. Some of the toughest questions we’ll face as parents will come from our children who are seeing confusing and contradicting messages in the world around them. We need to be prepared to have hard conversations, so our kids will still want to come to us when they’re grown. But, we have to build their trust now and that comes through sharing the Truth in love.
