This episode features a conversation with Saundra Little and Karen Burton of Noir Design Parti. This was a fun conversation and reminded me that we all have agency and often times have to follow our own curiosity to get the answers we're looking for. Unfortunately, we had some issues with Karen's audio but I wanted to share the content that we captured.Saundra Little, FAIA is a Principal and Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Quinn Evans. Karen Burton is the co-founder of SpaceLab Detroit. In addition to their full time jobs, they also launched a research project called Noir Design Parti to raise awareness about African American architects impact in shaping the landscape of Detroit and surrounding areas.
