He first received documents about the so-called Mussolini UFO anonymously sent to him in 1996. The case gained attention when it was mentioned by US intelligence whistleblower David Grusch, who found evidence for it in the USA, involving an alleged UFO crash investigated by a special commission established by Mussolini, with the wreckage sent to the USA when World War II ended for Italy.
