GUEST 1 OVERVIEW: Dr Wilson Sy is the principal of Investment Analytics Research. He has held senior university positions at ANU, UTS and UNSW in physics, mathematics, finance and economics for 15 years. Wilson has worked in financial regulation research at ASIC and APRA, where he was the Principal Researcher. More recently he has focused his attention on COVID-19 epidemiology, providing expert advice to a law firm on legal challenges to vaccine mandates.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: David McBride is an Australian whistleblower. In 2011 and 2013, he served in Afghanistan as a military lawyer to the Royal Australian Regiment and Australian Special Forces respectively. David made information on war crimes committed by Australian soldiers in Afghanistan available to the ABC. If convicted of the charges against him, David McBride faces many years in prison.
