Description
(0:00-24:00) The Portland Trail Blazers 2022-2023 season has sadly ended. It was not the season that we wanted but we always have next year! With the season ending, Sean has Erik Gundersen back on the show to revisit their predictions for the 2022-2023 season. There were some Ws for the guys but there are some Ls too because nothing is harder predicting the future. Enjoy the pod!
(24:00-41:45) After looking at the predictions for the season, Sean and Erik express their opinions on how the season ended for the Blazers. Where everything went wrong for the team and how management did not help this team. Big mention is the explosiveness of Shaedon Sharpe and how great he was in the last couple of games of the season. With Sharpe being this good, did he play himself into not being tradable? We discuss on the Report.
(41:46-End) In order for the Blazers to really take a step forward, Erik wants to see more experienced guys in leadership positions for the Blazers. Understandable, experience always helps! Erik mentions the positives of having more experience in the front office and on the coaching staff. Then he brings up an idea, Chauncey Billups to coach the Summer League team to just gain more experience. Thoughts? To finish out the show, Sean & Erik go into Dame not wanting to wait around for guys to develop.
