The AFP Annual Conference is also the largest networking event for finance professionals. Jim is an expert in treasury and finance. He has over 26 years of experience leading the AFP and was formerly EVP and COO of the Financial Executives Institute, a professional association of over 14,000 senior financial executives representing 8,000 companies in the United States.On the episode Jim discusses his career journey, starting from his political background to his role at the AFP. He talks about the strategic changes made by the AFP, including the shift from cash management to a broader focus on treasury and finance.
