When the Ohio State football team walked off the field at the end of the Cotton Bowl, the program was in one of the lowest points it had been in years. They ended the 2023 season with two consecutive losses, missed the College Football Playoff for the second time in three seasons, and were at risk of losing close to a dozen underclassmen to the NFL Draft. Just over two weeks later, things look very different around the program. All but two of those underclassmen decided to return for 2024, the Buckeye offense has added four key pieces in the Transfer Portal, recruiting is on a roll, and an overhaul of the assistant coaching staff is underway.
