From there, we looked at Leon Draisaitl's next contract and discussed whether or not we would be willing to accept a shorter-term deal if it kept him in Edmonton. The answer? Obviously yes. We also spent some time talking about Elvis Merzlikins after the Columbus goaltender basically asked for a trade without specifically asking for a trade.
