We're talking about our kids' social roles, ableism, inclusion, tokenism, inspiration porn, chronic grief and so much more. Please note: This is much longer than most of my podcast episodes. I decided to leave it as one for those who are able to listen in one sitting. Here is the Power of Roles event she mentions in the podcast.Genia Stephen is a speaker, host of the Good Things In Life podcast, and founder of Good Things in Life which helps parents support their kids with intellectual disabilities to build good inclusive lives at home, at school, and in the community.
