Holbrook Racing Engines has built quite a name and reputation for itself, all founded on a family dynasty spanning three generations: Carl, his son Chris, and now his son Del. As Kevin notes, among them they’ve got “all the secrets, the recipes from the chassis side, the driving side, the engine side.” Chief among these: the Cobra Jet they’re currently campaigning that can make up to 2000 hp with a 5L Coyote spinning at over 11,000 rpm. Admits Del, “it’s just huge shoes to fill.”
