GUEST OVERVIEW: Dr. Piers Robinson is a co-director of the Organisation for Propaganda Studies, convenor of the Working Group on Syria, Media, and Propaganda, and an associated researcher with the Working Group on Propaganda and the 9/11 Global 'War on Terror'. He is also a member of Panda and BerlinGroup21. Dr. Robinson's research focuses on propaganda, conflict, and media. He has held positions such as Chair/Professor in Politics, Society, and Political Journalism at the University of Sheffield (2016-2019), Senior Lecturer in International Politics at the University of Manchester (2010-2016), and Lecturer in Political Communication at the University of Liverpool (1999-2005).
