Description
Another great weekend at Citi Field. Mets pitchers held the Phillies to just two runs (one earned) during the entire weekend. Max Scherzer was fantastic, Jacob deGrom was sensational, and Chris Bassitt was great en route to taking another series from Philadelphia. Francisco Lindor set the Mets record for RBI by a SS too which was a great moment. Edwin Díaz's trumpets were electric, what else is new. Otherwise, this was a pretty straightforward series and this episode reflects that with no random moments about Chase Utley, Bob Grich, or other old second basemen that aren't in the Hall of Fame. We are on to Atlanta (also, please note: Keith Hernandez is at the top of the guys' list of players who aren’t in the HOF but should be).
