"Transmaxxing", on the surface, is the idea that young men (mostly involuntarily celibate or "incels") are becoming trans women to increase their odds of getting laid. In right wing media, the concept is being covered as a serious movement so as to fuel harmful transphobic narratives and erode civil protections for trans people. But is it actually a thing?
