Tom says it would be a bad idea to doubt Mizzou. The guys also discuss the diminishing value of bowl games and how there has to be a better way. According to Luginbill, Walter Nolan is currently the most coveted guy in the portal right now and could be heading to Oxford. That would add to Ole Miss' already impressive class. Bo asks Tom if Ole Miss could potentially make a run for the championship in years to come and Luginbill says it's possible if they continue to hammer the transfer portal . The guys compare Ole Miss to Colorado in terms of transfers and determine Ole Miss to have better base players. Bo wants to know if Tom thinks LSU is trending in the right direction, and he says yes, but... the competitive climate is going to make it more difficult for Brian Kelly and the Tigers. Replacing Jayden Daniels is also going to be very difficult Tom says. Tom also weighs in on Bo's favorite QB this year, Michael Penix Jr.'s future.
