Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and Leto and the twin sister of Apollo. She was a skilled archer and a fierce protector of her forest domain. Artemis was one of the most popular goddesses in Greek mythology. She was often depicted as a beautiful young woman with a bow and arrow, accompanied by a pack of hunting dogs. She was known for her independence, her strength, and her love of the wild.
